This month Fila celebrate their 100th Anniversary!
The iconic Italian label Fila was started by two Brothers who originally made fabrics and underwear.
Fila designs have been responsible for transforming the look and performance of tennis sportswear, which has nicely spilled over into street ware.
With Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships also celebrating their 125th year in 2011, it’s set to be an iconic year for tennis and fashion.
Kim Clijsters has sadly had to withdraw from the 2011 Wimbledon championships due to an ankle injury. She will be greatly missed from the tournament and we all wish her well for the rest of the season.
