This week sees the opening of a new exhibition at the V & A Museum in London exploring the creative connections between Fashion and Sport. Forget dodgy shell suits and neon lycra, these days sportswear is seriously cool. Inspired by popular culture and street style, many designers have taken to incorporating sportswear into their ranges.
The exhibition features many different designers, while Italian brand Fila celebrates 35 years with never-before-seen styles from its archives and exclusives designed for Bjorn Borg in the Seventies.
The final section of the exhibition explores the quirky world of sportswear obsessive's – including the Japanese designer who creates 2 outfits each year for his virtual football team!!!
