It’s one of the great fashion mysteries of all time, but one that is set to continue for many years to come I’m sure, and one that will no doubt end up trapping more confused soles than ever under its spell. So what is this great fashion mystery – just why do designers create clothes that don’t actually look good on anyone?!?!Fashion trends used to be dictated by royalty and the upper class, but for the present day the reverse is true, as designers now mostly look to the streets to find inspiration. Here in lies the problem – as what looks cool on your average 18 year old student, does not look quite so hot when worn by your average 45 year old software engineer who has no exercise routine to speak of and unlimited access to the vending machine!?!?
Take these designs for example; the outfits are only really appropriate if you are travelling from a cricket match to your eccentric grandmother’s tea party by scooter!?! I mean come on – do you know anybody that could pull off these outfits?!?! It is always worth remembering that choosing a designer brand is no guarantee of looking good!?!
