With winter now well and truly here to stay it’s all too easy to fall into the winter fashion trap!!! 3. Remember in the case of a scarf – size matters!!! You should be able to wrap a scarf around your neck and still have the ends hanging somewhere close to mid chest height. Wearing your scarf too short will not do you any favours in the fashion stakes believe me!!!

You might just about get away with wearing a big padded puffer jacket if you’re going casual, but wearing it over your suit to work will just crease your suit and make you look like you got dressed in the dark!?!

Snow and icy pavements are no excuse for bad shoes, so invest in a pair of quality boots with proper soles to avoid slipping and sliding your way to work or worst still – having to venture out wearing wellie boots!?!
The key to avoid becoming yet another winter fashion statistic is to avoid the snowman look. Remember that snowmen you built as a child and lovingly dressed in mismatched gloves, your dad’s old cap and a moth eaten scarf you found lurking in the back of the garage - this should not be you!?!?
